Welcome to 2Boards Skate. By enrolling in lessons, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all participants.
1. Program Overview
2Boards Skate provides skateboard instruction for individuals ages 4 through adult. Lessons are conducted at public and private skate parks and are designed to accommodate all skill levels—from beginners to advanced riders.
2. Assumption of Risk
Skateboarding is an inherently risky activity that may result in injury.
By participating in 2Boards Skate lessons, you acknowledge and agree that:
You (or your child) voluntarily assume all risks associated with skateboarding
Injuries may include, but are not limited to: falls, collisions, or equipment-related incidents
Participation is at your own risk
A separate liability waiver must be completed prior to participation.
3. Safety Requirements
To ensure a safe environment:
Helmets are required for all participants under 18
Additional protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards) is strongly recommended
Participants must follow all instructor directions at all times
Unsafe behavior may result in removal from the lesson without refund
4. Parent / Guardian Responsibility (Minors)
For participants under 18:
A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and waiver forms
Parents/guardians are responsible for: Drop-off and pick-up Ensuring the participant arrives on time and prepared
Parents may be required to remain onsite for younger participants (ages 4–7), depending on lesson type
5. Equipment
Participants are responsible for bringing their own:
Skateboard
Helmet (required)
Protective gear (recommended)
2Boards Skate may provide limited guidance on equipment but is not responsible for:
Equipment failure
Improper setup or maintenance of participant gear
6. Weather & Location Changes
Lessons are held outdoors and may be impacted by weather or park conditions.
Lessons may be rescheduled due to rain, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions
Participants will be notified via email, text, or scheduling platform
No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations, but a make-up session or credit will be provided
7. Cancellations & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a credit or reschedule
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session
Refunds are generally not provided unless under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of 2Boards Skate
8. Conduct & Behavior
All participants are expected to:
Treat instructors and others with respect
Follow park rules and instructor guidance
Avoid disruptive or unsafe behavior
2Boards Skate reserves the right to remove any participant who:
Acts in a dangerous or disrespectful manner
Fails to follow safety instructions
No refunds will be issued in these cases.
9. Public Skate Park Use
Lessons take place in shared public environments.
2Boards Skate does not control other park users
Participants must remain aware of surroundings at all times
2Boards Skate is not liable for incidents involving third parties
10. Photo & Media Release
By participating, you grant 2Boards Skate permission to:
Capture photos or videos during lessons
Use media for marketing, website, and social media purposes
If you prefer not to be included, please notify us in writing prior to the lesson.
11. Health & Medical Conditions
Participants (or guardians) must disclose any:
Medical conditions
Physical limitations
Allergies or relevant health concerns
2Boards Skate is not responsible for complications arising from undisclosed conditions.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
2Boards Skate, its instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
Any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation
Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
13. Agreement to Terms
By registering for or participating in 2Boards Skate lessons, you acknowledge that:
You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
You agree to comply with all policies outlined above
